An original, bright 18th-century view of Wilanów Palace painted by Bernardo Bellotto. The palace stands on the left-hand side of the painting, with splendid gardens in front and vegetation all around the building. Further in the foreground, Bellotto paints the road leading to the palace, busy with people, goods wagons and carriages. Between the road and the palace is a small grove. The sky is serene, a light blue shading into pink, with a few clouds. The painting, an oil on canvas, is dated 1776.
