An original and luminous view of the church of Santa Maria della Salute, by Giovanni Antonio Canal, known as Canaletto, seen from the entrance to the Grand Canal. In the foreground is the quayside of the Molo, with scenes of everyday life. Further back is the Punta della Dogana, with the splendid church of Santa Maria della Salute beside it.
