Castel dell'Ovo is illuminated, with Naples blurred in the background. It's a perspective painting; the sky is slightly cloudy, but the sun (not depicted in the painting, as it is assumed to be in the observer's position) illuminates the port. The painting is part of the collection of the Pitti Palace in Florence. There are three other variations of the same painting.
