A magnificent painting of the Tivoli Falls, painted in 1785 by Jakob Philipp Hackert, clearly showing the waterfall's double tier. The main subject is the water falling down the mountain, creating a fine mist as it crashes against the ground, which Jakob has expertly portrayed. Lush vegetation grows all around the hill, while oxen and cows graze on the banks.
