A beautiful view of Tivoli painted by Jan Frans van Bloemen. The dominant colour is green, skilfully shaded. Tivoli is perched on the hill and is watched by some travellers who are arriving. The sky is clear in the morning; on the right-hand side are two trees with some bushes. In the distance are mountains with white and leaden clouds.
The painting is part of a private collection.
