An original and very fine photograph depicting the Self-Portrait painted by Raphael.
Raphael's Self-Portrait is a tempera painting on panel (47.5 x 33 cm (18.7 x 13 in)), datable to around 1504-1506. It is held in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence.
The work is probably the one mentioned in the "Nota de' quadri buoni d'Urbino", bought in the city in the Marche by Cardinal Leopoldo de' Medici and previously in Rome, at the Accademia di San Luca, where Federico Zuccari had taken it.
