A splendid eighteenth-century view of Schönbrunn Palace, painted in 1759 by Bernardo Bellotto. The majestic palace stands out in the background, seen from the front, with a square in front, filled with carriages and nobles. The day is clear but with some clouds. On the left, a detail of the stables can be seen. A variant of this work with lighter colors exists.
The painting is exhibited at the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna, Austria.
