A luminous and splendid painting depicting the Arno and the Ponte Vecchio in Florence, by Bernardo Bellotto. In the foreground are boatmen fishing from their boats. Further back is the Ponte Vecchio. On the right of the river are the retaining walls and buildings. In the centre is the unusual depiction of a horse entering the river, which highlights the low water. The painting, oil on canvas, is undated.
