Further in the background is a river with animals on the shore, and on the other side, a Greek temple on a hill. In the background, fading mountains blend into a sky lit by the morning sun, with beautiful yellow reflections illuminating the entire scene.
The painting is exhibited at the Pushkin Museum in Moscow.
