An original and rare 18th-century etching depicting a town house with six columns on one side, by Giovanni Antonio Canal, known as Canaletto. In the foreground is the building, a two-storey palazzo with a fine Greek-style colonnade on the side of the main entrance. The palazzo stands in a village among other smaller houses, and almost towers over them. In the background are the bell tower and dome of a church and mountains fading into the clear sky. The etching is dated between 1735 and 1746. Other variants of this etching exist.
