Winter - Jakob-Philipp Hackert

The artwork

A splendid and romantic view of hunting scenes in the Persano reserve by Jakob Philipp Hackert. In the foreground is an area enclosed by a net with a cloth, in which the hunters, the horses and the quarry are depicted. In the centre of the scene is the countryside with scattered trees, while mountains dominate the background.
