The great river of London is prominent, navigated by vessels of various types. The bridge with its 15 arches connects the two banks of the Thames, and on the right side, a portion of eighteenth-century London can be seen. The sky features light clouds on the horizon, but the day remains clear.
The painting, an oil on canvas, is undated. Numerous variations of this painting exist, which is part of a private collection.
