In the foreground there is the riverbank, with a detail of a church, stalls, and scenes of daily life in the churchyard. Beyond the river there is a beautiful villa and other houses, while a mountain is further in the background.
The sky features a few clouds. The engraving is undated; other variations of this work by Canaletto exist.
