An original and very fine photograph depicting the Presentation at the Temple, painted by Giovanni Bellini.
The Presentation at the Temple is a tempera painting on panel (80 x 105 cm (31.5 x 41.3 in)) by Giovanni Bellini, datable to around 1460 and held in the Fondazione Querini Stampalia in Venice.
The dating of the work is uncertain, but it is in any case placed after Mantegna's similar Presentation at the Temple (c. 1455), from which Bellini borrowed the arrangement and the figures very faithfully.
