On the right are oxen grazing hay. On the left, citizens in period dress, finely painted in detail by Hackert, are prominent. In the background is the bridge with fishermen casting their nets, and in the upper right is a detail of the keep.
The painting is exhibited at the Royal Palace of Caserta.
