A bright and original view of the town of Pirna and Sonnenstein Castle, painted by Bernardo Bellotto. The castle stands out on the right side, perched on a hill and well-lit, while the town of Pirna is further down the valley with its houses and buildings, from which the bell tower and church emerge. The town square is depicted on the left side. The sky is clear, but there are a few clouds on the horizon.
The painting is dated 1755. Two other variations of this work exist, each with different colors.
