The river Isar separates the town from Munich, which extends beyond the bank with its cathedral and buildings. On the near bank is a fence with an onlooker gazing at the landscape. The sky is clear, and the waters of the Isar are tinged with a mix of pale green and blue. The picture, an oil on canvas, is undated.
