A romantic and original painting of the Neumarkt in Dresden from the Moritzstraße, by Bernardo Bellotto. The very large square stands out, with a few stalls and people, while fine palazzi dominate the sides, particularly on the right. The sky is clear, with few clouds.
The painting is dated 1750. It is one of the 14 views of the city of Dresden that Bellotto painted during one of his stays.
