Rare and original 18th-century engraving depicting a view of the town of Burano in Venice, created by Giovanni Antonio Canal, known as Canaletto. A large tree stands out, growing alone on the side of the shore. The town unfolds on the opposite side, with its bell tower, palaces, and church. On the right side of the painting, Canaletto depicts a pier. The sky is clear, but there are a few clouds on the horizon.
The work is undated. Other variations of this work by Canaletto exist.
