A luminous and rare view of a Dominican church in Vienna, seen from the side, by Bernardo Bellotto. In the foreground, on the left of the picture, is the church, painted in detail. In front of the church is a small square bustling with people. The sun lights the opposite side of the church, and a shadow falls on the walls of a large Austrian palace. The sky is clear with a few scattered clouds.
The picture, an oil on canvas, is undated. There are five variants of this work.
