In the foreground, you can see the entrance gate, with the door leading to the internal courtyard of the manor house (a building with a small tower at the rear of the original residence). A lady and a gentleman are prominently depicted on the right side of the painting, conversing. The sky is clear, but there are a few clouds on the horizon. The painting, an oil on canvas, is dated 1753.
