A luminous and original perspective image of a square "bathed" in sunlight, by Bernardo Bellotto. Around the square are fine palazzi side by side, painted in detail by Bellotto. An equestrian monument dominates the square, with a small fountain behind it. The square is crossed by scattered people and a carriage.
The sky is clear but with a few clouds; the painting, an oil on canvas, is undated. The picture is part of a private collection.
