A marvellous, clear view of Venice showing the Bacino di San Marco and the Church of Santa Maria della Salute, by Bernardo Bellotto. On the right the Grand Canal can be seen, busy with boats of various sizes. In the foreground is the Piazzetta, with the column of Venice. A clear, serene sky with a few clouds prevails. The picture, oil on canvas, is undated.
The painting is part of a private collection.
