On the right side there are the retaining walls of the Tiber River, and above them a church flanked by Roman houses. In the foreground there are scenes of daily life and several citizens observing the landscape. The sky is clear, with blue and white shades, which illuminates the waters of the Tiber in particular. Two other versions of this painting exist. The oil on canvas painting is undated.
