A precise, historic engraving of Trajan’s Column, in 18th-century Rome, by Lievin Cruyl. In the square with riders, the column stands on the right. The detail of the church and the adjoining buildings is fine. Behind the townhouses in the background, the sky is cloudy. The column is drawn with all the carvings that spiral up it. The engraving is undated.
