A magnificent work depicting the killing of the woman from the stories of Nastagio, painted by Botticelli.
The scene depicts a woman pursued by three mastiffs and by a knight armed with a sword, who kills her and feeds her heart and entrails to the dogs. The woman's body becomes whole again, she resumes her flight and is once more pursued, killed by the knight and fed to the mastiffs. Nastagio would like to help the young woman, but the knight orders him to stand back.
