The Baptism of Christ is a tempera painting on panel by Piero della Francesca of uncertain date (1440-1450), kept in the National Gallery in London.
The panel was commissioned by the Camaldolese abbey of San Giovanni in Val d'Afra in Sansepolcro, the painter's birthplace and home, as the central panel of a polyptych whose side compartments and predella were completed by Matteo di Giovanni around 1465, and which probably decorated the high altar.
