The Annunciation is an oil painting on panel, later transferred to canvas (93 x 37 cm (36.6 x 14.6 in)), by the Flemish painter Jan van Eyck, datable to 1434-1436 and held in the National Gallery of Art in Washington. The work is thought to have been a panel of a lost triptych.
