An original and very fine image depicting the Tezi Altarpiece, painted by Perugino (Pietro Vannucci).
The Tezi Altarpiece is an oil painting on panel (182x158 cm (71.7 x 62.2 in)) by Pietro Perugino, datable to around 1500 and kept in the Galleria Nazionale dell'Umbria in Perugia. The work originally had a predella consisting of a single small panel with the Last Supper (18x121 cm (7.1 x 47.6 in)), now in the Gemäldegalerie in Berlin.
The work was painted for the chapel of the Tezi family in the church of Sant'Agostino in Perugia.
