The artwork

An interesting engraving of Castel Sant’Angelo, with St Peter’s in the background, by Lievin Cruyl, seen in perspective from the terrace of a palace on the opposite bank of the Tiber. Some boats on the river stand out, as does the bridge with three main arches reflected in the water. The sky has a few clouds; on the left side is the detail of a palace with a terrace and a person looking at the landscape.
