A luminous and original 18th-century painting by Bernardo Bellotto depicting the Sforza Castle in Milan seen from the front. The castle dominates the landscape and is a landmark for the citizens of Milan. The castle walls are clearly visible, high and imposing, while outside the walls there is a large courtyard with scenes of daily life. The sky is clear with a few white clouds on the horizon. There is another version of this painting with different lighting.
The painting is exhibited at the Regional Historic Sites Management in Czechoslovakia.
