A splendid 18th-century view of Schönbrunn Palace, painted between 1758 and 1761 by Bernardo Bellotto. In the foreground are the beautiful Italian-style gardens with their elegant geometry. Schönbrunn Palace, dominating the background, is seen from the front in all its majesty. There are visitors in the gardens, especially along the broad central avenue. The day is clear, with a few clouds in the background.
