A marvellous, clear view of Schlosshof Castle seen from the north side, painted by Bernardo Bellotto. The marvellous castle dominates the scene, finely painted by Bellotto on the right of the painting. In the foreground are the splendid Italian-style gardens, with noble ladies and gentlemen in scenes of daily life. One detail in the foreground is the carriage arriving at the castle. The day is clear and serene. The picture, an oil on canvas, is undated, and there is another similar version with a variation in colour.
