A romantic painting by Jakob Philipp Hackert depicting the royal princes embracing during the harvest at Carditello. Prominent are the princes, owners of the estate, in elegant clothes, with a guard dog beside them. Near them, among the peasants, a cart for loading the harvest is shown. The picture glows with an evocative twilight. In the distant background are mountains fading into the sky.
The painting is on display at the Capodimonte Museum, Naples.
