The high retaining wall overlooking the river is depicted in the foreground. On the left side, two people are clearly observing the landscape. The sky is clear, but there are a few clouds on the horizon. The painting, an oil on canvas, is undated.
The painting is exhibited at the Yale University Art Gallery.
