River landscape - Jakob-Philipp Hackert

The artwork

An interesting mid-18th-century view of a river landscape by Jakob Philipp Hackert. Prominent on the bank are two people resting with a dog, while further on a white ox lies on the grass. The river flows gently, reflecting the hill and the village. Prominent on the right is a large tree at whose foot two people are resting.
