Giuseppe Vasi's engraving of the Port of Ripetta is dated 1754. The work is part of a series of views engraved by Vasi between 1746 and 1761, which meticulously document various locations in Rome. The Port of Ripetta, situated on the Tiber River, was a bustling commercial hub in the 18th century. Vasi's view not only captures the architecture and daily activities of the port but also includes important landmarks such as the Church of San Girolamo, the dome of the Church of San Rocco, and Palazzo Borghese.
