A bright and original view of the town of Pirna, depicting details of daily life in the port area, painted by Bernardo Bellotto. The Elbe River is prominently depicted, while in the foreground there is a camp with women hanging out their freshly washed laundry. On the other side of the riverbank there are some buildings, partially obscured by the sun's shadow. The sky is clear, but there are a few white clouds on the horizon. The painting is dated 1753. Another variant of this painting exists.
