On the other side, in perspective, are the palaces, the Church of Santa Maria della Salute, and Punta Dogana, masterfully depicted by Bellotto. Boats, including some gondolas, are coming and going on the canal. A few clouds are forming in the sky.
There are several variations of this work. The painting is exhibited at the Johnny van Haeften Gallery in London.
