A splendid, bright 18th-century view of the Pantheon in Rome seen from the front, painted by Bernardo Bellotto. The Pantheon is depicted in the centre, with its circular form and its entrance with Greek-style columns. In front of the building is a small square with a little fountain and scenes of everyday life. On either side of the square are Roman palaces. The sky is serene, painted in a light blue shading into pink, with a few clouds. The picture, an oil on canvas, is undated.
The painting is on display at the Museum of Fine Arts (Szepmuveszeti) Budapest.
