A splendid and luminous 18th-century view of the Pantheon in Rome seen from the front, painted by Bernardo Bellotto. The Pantheon is depicted centrally, with its circular shape and entrance featuring Greek-style columns. In front of the building there is a small square with a fountain and scenes of daily life. Roman buildings flank the square. The sky is clear, painted in light blue tinged with pink, with a few clouds. The painting, an oil on canvas, is undated.
This artwork is exhibited at the Museum of Fine Arts (Szepmuveszeti) in Budapest.
