“Marius Victorious over the Cimbri” is an oil painting on canvas by Francesco Saverio Altamura, produced around 1864. It depicts the Roman general Gaius Marius triumphant after his victory over the tribe of the Cimbri, in an epic and dramatic scene. The work exalts heroism and patriotic feeling, also reflecting the artist's Risorgimento ideals. It is held at the Museo e Gallerie Nazionali di Capodimonte in Naples.
