Historical and imaginary map of 16th-century America created by Henry Justice Ford. It is a colour lithograph.
The map shows part of "Cipangu" China, while for America there is Florida and some Caribbean islands. On this map China and America form a single continent. It is therefore an imaginary America, very different from reality, with the borders of the American continent not clearly defined. The map's dating relates to the reign of Henry VII.
Henry Justice Ford (London, 1860 – 1941) was an English artist active from 1886 until the late 1920s.
