The map shows the world on a distinctive heart-shaped chart, divided into meridians and parallels, with the outlines of the continents of the time. It is a physical map, highlighting the largest rivers known at the time. The map is set within a kind of tabernacle with two columns at the sides, where, at the bottom, in the right and left corners, there are inscriptions in Latin.
