Late 19th-century double-hemisphere historical world map, an engraved and colored piece.
The map depicts the world as it was known in the first half of the 19th century. Both meridians and parallels are present. The two globes appear suspended, surrounded by zodiac globes (upper corners) or eclipses (lower right corner). In the upper part of the map, there is a scientific article explaining the Earth.
