A beautiful quadrangular view of Genoa, showing the city and its port as seen from the sea. The view was published in Augsburg by the heirs of Jeremias Wolff in 1731.
In the upper right corner, the coat of arms of Genoa is visible. Below the image, there is a legend accurately listing the city's 57 landmarks.
Wolff published from about 1686 to 1724. After his death, his plates were inherited by his son-in-law, Johan Balthasar Probst, who married Wolff's only daughter.
