An original and very fine work depicting Laura, painted by Giorgione.
The female portrait known as Laura is an oil painting on canvas glued to panel, created by the Venetian master Giorgione with the help of the painter Vincenzo Catena, signed and dated 1506 on the back, and kept in the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna. It is the only work signed by the artist and one of the very few paintings in his catalogue that can be dated with certainty.
