Landscape with figures at a well - Jan Frans van Bloemen

The artwork

A charming, luminous view in varied shades of green of a landscape with trees on either side, painted by Jan Frans van Bloemen. In the centre is a small lake, and lying on its bank are some travellers. In the far distance are mountains and a clear sky with a few clouds that seem almost to “light up” the picture.
