A splendid and romantic 18th-century view of Lake Bracciano by Jakob Philipp Hackert, in pen and brush on paper. In the foreground is the lake with its circular shape, crossed by a few boats. Closer to the shore, on the left, is a large tree with wayfarers at its foot. In the background the town of Bracciano is shown fading into the sky. The dominant colour of this picture is light brown.
The painting is on display at the Graphische Sammlung, Kassel, Germany.
