This map is taken from a special, unique single composite volume of maps from the Atlas Curieux, normally in two volumes, published in 1714 as the Suite de Atlas Curieux.
It includes most of the regional and national maps from both volumes, without the city maps, views or plans. The colour is extraordinary, more elaborate and exquisite than most examples we have seen.
