A rare and valuable Indian ink drawing on paper of a landscape with travellers near a villa, by Jan Frans van Bloemen. The black and white work by Bloemen is a study in perspective, with the road descending and climbing along the walls of the villa. In the centre, prominently, are large trees, some of them growing above the first floor of the villa. In the background are the church and the buildings of the town.
The painting is on display at the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam.
